The history of the religious quest – one of the most mysterious, interesting and deep layers of human culture. For centuries, people of different civilizations have asked themselves the same – the eternal – questions. Who are we? Why we exist? Where we are going? What is happiness? These questions show a striking mystery about the amazing gift that is unique to the person – spiritual gift.

For Christians, the main answer is the incarnation of Christ, which occurred more than two thousand years ago. Muslims believe that the true God – Allah – revealed His will through His messenger preaching – Muhammad. Jews for centuries worshiped the ancient prophets of Israel, the greatest of which was Moses. Every traditional religion has created a rich cultural world – philosophy, literature, art and architecture. In Russia people of different nationalities, cultures and religions coincide for many centuries.

We invite you to get acquainted with the major world religions represented in Moscow, to see and visit their churches and prayer centers.

Our excursion will include a walk through the three historic districts of Moscow. We begin in Zamoskvorechye, where you can see some beautiful Orthodox churches and visit the Moscow Historical Mosque. We will go to China Town, where we will visit the representatives of Western Christianity – Lutherans and Baptists. Visit the Moscow Choral Synagogue – one of the largest Jewish centers in Russia. We continue our tour in the area of ​​Krasnaya Presnya, where we will visit the largest Catholic Church in Russia – Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. However, the closest to our country over Eastern Christianity has always been the Armenian Apostolic Church. A visit to the modern church complex, including the majestic Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord and the chapel of the Holy Cross and the oldest church of the Holy Resurrection located at the Armenian cemetery, finishes our tour.
